Painting the electrical main center less noticeable

Four easy steps on how to spray paint electrical main center

1. Preparation 

Protect surfaces you do not want to paint. Clean the surface thoroughly by removing all dirt and grease, for example using Maston Degreaser spray. Allow the surface to dry completely before painting. To improve adhesion, especially on glossy and smooth surfaces, light sanding with 180-grit sandpaper is recommended.

2. Priming 

Make test painting on an unseen area before proceeding. Use Maston ONE primer to increes adhesion. Spray an even, thin layer and let it dry according to the instructions. Maston ONE primer is a special primer available in several shades that ensures excellent adhesion to your target surface before the actual painting.

3. Painting 

Use high-quality acrylic paint – we recommend Maston ONE spray paint, which dries quickly and provides superior UV protection for both indoor and outdoor use. Paint with even back-and-forth strokes in multiple thin layers, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. This way, you prevent the paint from dripping and achieve a smooth surface.

4. Finishing 

Once the final layer of paint is dry, apply acrylic lacquer (ONE lacquer available in various gloss levels) to protect the painted surface. The lacquer increases the durability of the surface, especially for objects intended for outdoor use.
