Vespa Primavera moped

For Vespa Primavera, we glass bead blasted and sodablasted all sheet metal parts, repaired rust damage and knocked out dents. After applying the putty, the 1K Primer filled the pores really well. Next, a light intermediate sanding followed by white primer to keep a grey base from darkening the hue of the top coat. Then, a top coat and finishing with clear coat. A few bugs landed on the coat while still damp. We had to wait for the paint to dry, then sand with a sanding block and scrub off any bug remains with 1,000 grit wet sandpaper. And finally, light sanding with paste compound and finish off with a wax. Molto elegante bella Primavera!
